#WeddingWednesday: Weekend Peak

Oh my Goodness! I can't believe February is almost over (in like, 3 days) EEK! I've been a busy bee this past month. Especially this past weekend when I flew home for my cousin's Engagement Party! My Aunt planned a fabulous luncheon which was simple yet beautiful! Future Brides and Grooms take note, a room with a beautiful view and simple arrangements are sometimes all you need (and some chargers, and signage, okay I'm getting carried away).

I hadn't realized the impact of the help I'd contributed in planning the luncheon. I designed the invitations and welcome sign (a talent that is rarely used). But when my aunt validated my gift it felt ah-may-zing!

Naturally the planner in me emerged (especially since I arrived before everyone including the hostess)...So I pitched in with final touches for set up and ushered in guests as they arrived. I even enjoyed having to make some on the spot judgement calls (i.e. displaying cupcakes, rearranging the program in the even of a 'delayed' guest speaker).  However, everything went off without a hitch and was lovely!.

Here are a couple of detail shots I snapped while helping to get the room ready. I'll share the pro pictures when I get them later on!
