Lately, I've had to create quite a few inspiration boards. This can start off kind of fun, but with a few important events around the corner, it's getting to be quite overwhelming. But OMG, inspiration boards are so helpful! I know, so is Pinterest, but an inspiration boards goes beyond Pinterest.
As a wedding planner, I need to focus, and in order to do that I need a clear picture of the look and feel your wedding day should convey. Pinterest is a good starting point, but it doesn't get me to focus. In fact, I'll let you in on a little secret. I wind up reorganizing a few of my couple's Pinterest boards. I'm so particular that I will go so far as to break out stationery details from food details from flower details. But that's just me(!).
So, my advice to you dear bride and groom, is to break out the details by category (i.e. reception, ceremony, cocktail hour) when you begin planning your wedding day. From there, an organized coordinator can pull certain elements to create the main inspiration board for your dream day.
And if this all feels too daunting, just shoot me an email, and I'd be happy to help!
